BOULDER CREEK, NEV. – The ORU women's golf program participated in the Spring Jackrabbit Invitational from March 16-17 in Boulder City, Nevada at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Three Golden Eagles placed in the top 20 as ORU placed sixth out of 10 teams.
The Daniel Island Club is a par-72 course that plays 6,383 yards. The average score over the three-round tournament was 75.74.
As a team, ORU shot 291-300-296 and finished 23 over par. UNLV claimed the team title, shooting twelve-under par on the week (285-283-284). Pin Hsi Chen took home the individual title, shooting nine under par (71-68-68).
Anna Swan placed 12th, shooting 74-72-73 to finish the Daniel Island Invitational at three-over par.
Avery Blake finished three shots back of Swan, putting together rounds of 70-76-76 to finish the week at six-over par, securing a T20 finish. Blake's 70 (-2) in round one was the lowest round of the week.
Lydia Swan shot 73-74-75 (+6), closing out the Daniel Island Invitational tied for 20
th.
Jayla Kucy carded rounds of 74-78-72, finishing T27.
Khloe Jones finished at twenty-four-over par, shooting 79-78-83 and placing T54.
