Ty Harper Garners Summit League Kwik Star Peak Performer of the Week Award

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts guard Ty Harper claimed the final Kwik Star Summit League Men's Basketball Peak Performer of the Week accolade, securing his first career honor, league officials announced Tuesday.

Harper averaged 37.0 ppg and 4.0 apg to lead the Golden Eagles to back-to-back wins over Denver and Kansas City.

In the victory over the Pioneers, the Norcross, Ga., native finished with a career-high 47 points on 12-of-24 shooting from the floor and a perfect 21-for-21 from the foul line. The 21 makes broke the Summit League single-game record and tied for the fifth most points scored in a game in league history.

Harper scored 23 points in the first half and added 24 in the second half as ORU scored a season-high 102 points in the win over the Pioneers.

He backed up that performance with a game-high 27 points in the Golden Eagles' 94-70 victory at Kansas City. Harper went 11-for-17 from the floor and added a season-high six assists.

ORU moves onto the tournament having won a season-best three straight and four of six overall after starting the league slate 0-10.
