TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team is set to begin postseason play in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Tipoff at the PREMIER Center is set for 12 p.m. on Friday, March 6.

Last Time Out
  • ORU is coming off a 1-1 week, falling at Omaha before closing the season with a 67-52 win over St. Thomas in the Mabee Center on Saturday. With the Golden Eagles' win over St. Thomas, head coach Cophie Anderson finishes her inaugural season with a 15-14 overall record, going 8-8 in Summit League play.
  • Freshman guard Preslee Hartsock reached double figures in scoring off the bench, recording 11 points at Omaha. Joining Hartsock in double figures were Jalei Oglesby, who led the team with 23 points, and Kayten Donley with 18 points. Ari Gordon and Anna Trusty each added nine points for the Golden Eagles.
  • Oral Roberts forced 21 Omaha turnovers while committing just nine in Wednesday's game. The Golden Eagles turned those takeaways into 17 points on the offensive end. Donley's four steals led the way for Oral Roberts.
  • Freshman forward Kayten Donley recorded her first career double-double as the Oral Roberts women's basketball team defeated St. Thomas.
  • Donley ended the day with 12 points and 15 rebounds, grabbing 12 defensive boards. Oglesby led the team in scoring, shooting 6-of-13 from the floor for 15 points and finishing just one rebound shy of a double-double. Joining her in double-figure scoring were Anna Trusty and Ari Gordon with 13 and 11 points, respectively.
  • Oral Roberts collected 42 rebounds compared to St. Thomas' 27, led by Donley's 15 boards. The Golden Eagles also cleaned up the offensive glass, turning 12 rebounds into 10 second-chance points. Donley also led the team in blocks (2), assists (5) and steals (2).

  • Jalei Oglesby's 48.4 field goal percentage ranks fifth in the Summit League. The redshirt senior guard sits fourth in field goals made (184) and points per game (16.2).
  • Anna Trusty closely trails Oglesby, ranking sixth in field goal percentage (44.9). The sophomore guard ranks sixth in points per game (14.5), her 76.2% free-throw percentage ranks seventh in the league.
  • Kayten Donley's 1.00 blocks per game rank seventh in the Summit League, while her 1.7 steals per game rank tied for fourth, closely trailed by teammate Ari Gordon's 1.6 steals per game.
  • Gentry Baldwin's 2.6 assists per game rank ninth in the league.
  • ORU leads the Summit League in steals per game (9.8), turnovers forced per game (18.90), and turnover margin (3.66). The Golden Eagles rank second in bench points per game (20.6) and are third in field-goal percentage (44.7).
  • As a team, ORU ranks third in the league and in the top nationally in free throws made per game (14.62; 34th), scoring offense (76.9; 31st), and three-point percentage (35.0; 34th).
 
All-League Recognition
  • In head coach Cophie Anderson's first season at the helm of the Golden Eagles, the Oral Roberts women's basketball team picked up five All-Summit League recognitions.
  • Four Golden Eagles– Kayten Donley, Ari Gordon, Jalei Oglesby, and Anna Trusty– were awarded Summit League honors.
  • Oglesby earned her fifth career Summit League honor, being named to the All-Summit League Second Team. The senior guard ranks fourth in league-only scoring, averaging 16.6 points per game, scoring in double figures in all but two games. She ranks third in league play in field goal percentage (51.5%), and has shot 50% or better in 9 of 14 league games.
  • Trusty brought in two honors, being named an All-Summit League Honorable Mention and earning a spot on the All-Newcomer Team. She is in the top 15 in the league in scoring, averaging 12.6 points per game, and reached double-figure scoring in 11 league games. Trusty averages 1.5 steals per game, tied for sixth in the SL.
  • In her first season as a Golden Eagle, Gordon was named to the All-Defensive Team. The junior guard is tied for second in steals per game (2.0) and in the top 10 in blocks per game (0.8). She recorded the second-most steals in a game (6) against Omaha (1/17/26). Gordon has had seven double-figure scoring games this season, starting in only five games.
  • Donley was named to the All-Freshman Team after appearing and starting in every game this season, averaging 32.5 minutes per game in league play, the most of any freshman in the SL. She ranks in the top 15 in the league for scoring, the second-highest of all freshmen, averaging 12.2 points per game. Donley is only one of two freshmen to average more than five rebounds per game, and ranks in the top 10 in the SL in assists per game (2.7), and averages 1.6 steals per game, tied for fourth in the SL. She recorded a career-high 23 points against Denver, shooting 11-of-15 from the field, and had her first career double-double in the final game of the season, recording 12 points and 15 rebounds against St. Thomas.

  • Though it was Senior Day, freshman forward Kayten Donley made a statement in the 67-52 win over St. Thomas, recording her first career double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds on Saturday, February 28.

  • Baldwin posted a career-high 25 points at North Dakota, shooting 9-of-11 from the field and 5-of-6 from beyond the arc. She did not miss a shot until the 3:30 mark of the fourth quarter.
  • Hannah Coons and Ari Gordon each posted ORU career-best 15 points in the Golden Eagles' win over Omaha.
  • Gentry Baldwin posted a new career best in the Golden Eagles' win over North Dakota, recording eight assists and six steals.
  • Jalei Oglesby had the Mabee Center seeing double in the 86-51 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan, reaching double-figure scoring and rebounding by halftime. Oglesby ended the night with a season-best 25 points and 15 rebounds.
  • On December 18, ORU erased a 23-point deficit to defeat North Texas, 74-73. Kayten Donley and Anna Trusty led the way with 17 points apiece.
  • In the 92-89 comeback win at Idaho, Alana Shetlar posted a career-best 12 points, shooting 5-of-6 from the floor and 2-of-2 from behind the arc.
  • Sophomore guard Anna Trusty posted a season-best 26 points at Power Four Kansas on November 23, shooting 60% from the floor.
  • Gentry Baldwin posted a career-best 21 points in the 2025 Mayor's Cup against Tulsa on November 11. The junior guard shot 7-of-13 from the field.
  • Preseason Summit League awards were released last month, with Jalei Oglesby named to the All-Summit League First Team.
  • The Golden Eagles were picked to finish third in the Summit League Preseason Poll, which is voted on by the league's nine head coaches, sports information directors, and select media members.

Opponent Information: St. Thomas
  • St. Thomas finished fifth in the Summit League, with an 8-8 conference record and and finished 15-15 overall.
  • The Tommies went 1-1 last week, defeating Kansas City 73-71 before falling at ORU 67-52.
  • At Kansas City, Alyssa Sand led all scorers with a career-high 23 points, shooting 6-of-13 overall and 11-12 on the line.
  • Mikayla Werner closely trailed, with a career-high 22 points. Savannah McGowan joined in the double-figure scoring with 10 points off the bench.
  • Sand led the team in their loss in the Mabee Center, finishing the day with 19 points, while Werner led the team with six rebounds.
  • Sand, a sophomore forward, earned a spot on the All-Summit League First Team and All-Defensive Team, averaging a team-best 14.1 ppg, ninth in the league, on 50.3 percent shooting, while adding 1.1 blocks per contest in league play.
  • Jada Hood was named to the All-Newcomer Team after playing a key role in the Tommies' offense, ranking third on the team in scoring (9.5 ppg) and leading the squad in assists with 3.5 per game, which ranked third in the league.
  • Head coach Ruth Sinn recently announced her retirement after 21 seasons at St. Thomas, compiling a 421-171 career record.
