TULSA, Okla. – Ricardo Filho and
Cecilia Franzin have each been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Ricardo Filho graduated this spring with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a 3.86 GPA. The All-Summit League Team honoree played in 24 singles matches this season, 22 of which were on the No. 1 court. All 26 of his doubles matches were played on the No. 1 court.
Cecilia Franzin concluded her sophomore campaign with a 3.93 GPA while actively pursuing her bachelor's degree in Finance. She saw the court in 20 singles matches playing on the No. 2 court 16 times. She also played in 22 doubles matches, playing on the No. 1 court in all but two.
