TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts Volleyball head coach Nolan Albrecht has announced the addition of Ariana Pagan Munoz as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026 season. 

Munoz joins the Golden Eagles following two years on the professional side, playing in the Women's Superior Volleyball League in Manatí, Puerto Rico. 

"Ariana brings a combination of winning experience, energy, and a genuine passion for the unique aspects that make ORU Volleyball an elite Division I program. During the interview process, what stood out to me most was her excitement to learn, serve, and invest in our student-athletes as we continue rebuilding a culture that glorifies the Lord and wins volleyball games." said head coach Albrecht. "As a student athlete, she was a huge factor in the success of Stephen F. Austin's program and has added professional playing experience in Puerto Rico. She has made it clear she is hungry to help, eager to grow, and believes in the direction of this program. I believe she will be a tremendous addition to our staff and our Golden Eagle family!" 

In addition to her professional playing career, Munoz brings several years of coaching and player development experience. Since 2021, she has worked as a volleyball instructor in Isabela, PR for elementary, middle, and high school athletes focusing on both athletic and personal development.  

From September 2025 to May 2026 Munoz coached volleyball in Colegio San Rafael, Quebradillas, PR.  

Pagan Munoz played five years at Stephen F. Austin, serving as a captain for three seasons (2021-2023), helping lead the team to multiple conference championships. Her senior year she was named Second Team All-WAC and won WAC Offensive Player of the Week twice. Munoz concluded her career as a two-time All-Southland Conference Champion, two-time All-WAC Champion, SFA Tournament Most Valuable Player, SFA All-Tournament Team, and was a part of three-time NCAA Tournament appearances. 

On the international stage, she represented Puerto Rico National Juvenile Team as outside hitter/libero at NORCECA U20 Continental Championship (Mexico), NORCECA U18/U20 Pan American Cup (Cuba/Costa Rica), AAU International Volleyball Championship U18 (USA), and Volleyball High Performance Championship U15 (USA). 

A native of Isabela, Puerto Rico, Munoz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Business from Stephen F. Austin in 2022 before completing her MBA in Sports Business in 2023. She later earned the FIFA/CIES International Program in Sports Management Certification from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez and her Level 1 Coaching Certification from the Puerto Rico Volleyball Federation in August and October of 2025, respectively.
