Brice Denigan scored his first collegiate goal as the Oral Roberts men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw against UIC Sunday afternoon.
The Flames struck first, scoring on a penalty kick in the 27th minute.
ORU leveled the game in the 49th minute, as
Roman Hemphill gained possession and played the ball forward to Denigan, who scored his first career goal just three minutes into the second half.
UIC was awarded another penalty kick after drawing a foul in the box with less than four minutes remaining, but goalkeeper
Cameron Parma stopped the shot to keep the score tied at 1-1.
