• The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2-2 draw at Cal State Fullerton Thursday, with goals from Siem Tegbaru and Roman Hemphill, who assisted on the first goal of the evening.
• Cameron Parma tallied nine saves on the night, the most of any Summit League keeper this season. 
• Redshirt-freshman goalkeeper Cameron Parma earned the first Summit League weekly honor of the season, being named the Defensive Peak Performer Tuesday. Parma logged all 180 minutes in goal last week during his collegiate debut, recording eight saves, including an 87th-minute stop on a UIC penalty kick to preserve the 1-1 score.
• Oral Roberts enters the season picked fourth in the 2026 Summit League preseason coaches' poll with 10 points, as Kansas City was tabbed the favorite. Sophomores Jeff Mesidor and Siem Tegbaru earned Players to Watch recognition.
• ORU returns 13 players from last season's squad and welcomes 15 newcomers to the roster.
• Zak Ford and Jeff Mesidor stand out among the Golden Eagle returners, combining for over 1600 of the 3600 minutes returned.

Former Golden Eagle goalkeeper Joao Mesquita returns to the program as a graduate assistant, while John Woodhead enters his fourth season as an assistant coach and Xander Quiroga returns as a volunteer assistant.
• Thursday's match marks the second all-time meeting between ORU and CSUN, as the two faced in Tulsa last season.

 
Opponent Information

• CSUN enters the 2026 season under 28th-year head coach Terry Davila. Davila has built a 228-201-80 career record, all with the Matadors.
• CSUN is currently 1-1-0 on the season, opening with a 2-1 loss at UNLV before defeating The Master's University 5-1 Thursday.
• Senior transfer Kayvon Monfared put the Matadors on the board in the fifth minute. Following a goal from teammate Tito Oyewo, Monfared made it 3-0 with another goal in the 26th minute.
• Goalkeeper Dorian Drucks received a preseason nod, being named to the Big West Preseason Coaches' Team earlier in the month.
