TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts volleyball wrapped up its series against Abilene Christian, falling short in three sets Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles faced an early challenge in set one, falling 25-7. ORU responded with a much more competitive second set, battling through six ties. Ciara Cunningham led the team with five kills and added two block assists, but the Golden Eagles ultimately fell short, 25-20. ORU continued to battle for every point but dropped the third set 25-15 to end the match 3-0 in favor of ACU.
NEXT UP: Oral Roberts will be on the road for the Cowgirl Classic, facing Grambling State on September 18 at 6PM and McNeese on September 19 at 1PM.
