TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer program was the first to score as they finished the evening 1-1 against Houston Christian Saturday.
In similar fashion to ORU's Tuesday match against UTRGV, the scoreboard remained 0-0 after the first 45 minutes of play. Houston Christian put up four shots in the first half as goalkeeper
Cameron Parma recorded two saves.
The Golden Eagles struck early in the second half. With just over seven minutes into the half, defender
Aiden Ussery nudged a shot by
Graham Condley to find the back of the net.
HCU headed a corner kick to level the score in the 61st minute, a score that held through the rest of the evening.
The Golden Eagles will open Summit League play Saturday, September 26 on the road at Kansas City.
