TULSA, Okla. – Coming off a 1-1 tie to open conference play, the Oral Roberts women's soccer team earned its first Summit League victory of the season Sunday afternoon, shutting out Omaha, 2-0, at Case Soccer Complex.
Brianna Castleberry provided all the offense ORU needed, scoring twice in a five-minute span in the first half. She opened the scoring in the 14th minute off an assist from Cameron Silva, then doubled the lead in the 19th minute on a free kick, putting the Golden Eagles up 2-0 before the half.
ORU controlled the match from there, out-shooting Omaha 11-0 for the game and 59% to 41% in possession.
