LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer program put on a dominant offensive display Saturday night, cruising past Little Rock, 5-0, at Coleman Sports Complex. The Golden Eagles improve to 5-0-2 on the season, while Little Rock falls to 1-4-1.
ORU wasted no time getting on the board, as
Genesis Helsley opened the scoring in the 13th minute off an assist from
Cameron Silva. Just three minutes later, Silva doubled the lead, converting an assist from Helsley to make it 2-0 before the half.
The Golden Eagles kept the pressure on throughout, out-shooting Little Rock 24-5 on the night and controlling the match from start to finish. ORU pulled away for good in the final 10 minutes, as
Brianna Castleberry struck again in the 84th minute, her team-leading sixth of the season.
Amaris Hamilton-Grein and
Alaina Trevino added late goals in the 88th and 90th minutes to cap the scoring.
Alyson Sebban earned the shutout in goal, needing no saves as Little Rock managed just five shots and none on target all match. On the other end, Little Rock's Reese Potts kept the deficit from ballooning further, turning away 14 shots.
Game Notes:
- Helsley scored her first goal of the season and added an assist, factoring into both of ORU's first-half goals.
- ORU out-shot Little Rock 24-5, including a 19-0 advantage in shots on goal.
- The Golden Eagles' 19 shots-on-goal are the most in a single game since Aug. 21, 2025 (4-0 win against Friends) when they also recorded 19.
- Sebban earned the win without needing to make a save, improving to 4-0-2 on the season.
- This is the first time since Oct. 1, 2023 (5-2 win over Kansas City) that five different Golden Eagles scored a goal in the same game.
