About Ebony

Injuries have marred her first two seasons at ORU ... was in line for a starting spot in 2004 before having to red-shirt with a knee injury ... another knee injury limited her to just 11 games last season ... when healthy, a high-energy and athletic player ... contributions this year will depend on success of the continuing rehabilitation process ... mentally tough player ... great verbal leader on and off the floor ... one of eight children (five boys, three girls) ... can provide a rebounding presence on both the and wing and post positions ... always plays with a lot of emotion ... does not back down from physical play ... a crowd favorite ... possesses the intangibles that don’t always fill the box score.






RS-Junior (2005-06)

Appeared in 11 games, including one start before a knee injury over Christmas break ended her season ... registered season’s best performance at Texas Tech (12/15) with five points and six boards ... scored a season high four points versus Southwestern Oklahoma State (11/23) ...started and played a season-high 13 minutes in ORU’s season opener at New Mexico (11/11).




Junior (2004-05)

Saw action in three of the seasons first four games before a knee injury forced her to miss the rest of the season ... played a season-high five minutes against Evangel (11/22), registering one point and two rebounds in 62-44 win.






At Cowley County

Played her sophomore season at Cowley County ... helped led team to 23-9 overall record and a second place finish in the Jayhawk Conference’s Eastern Division ... averaged 10.0 points per game and ranked second in the conference with 10.1 rebounds per game, despite playing less than 20 minutes per contest ... earned 2nd team all-conference honors.




At Kansas

Began her collegiate career at the University of Kansas during the 2002-03 season ... played in 10 games, scoring seven points and grabbing three rebounds ... played a total of 34 minutes.






High School

2002 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas in suburban Kansas City ... named the Johnson County Defensive Player of the Year as a senior ... averaged 11 points, nine rebounds, and six assists while leading St. Thomas Aquinas to a 20-5 record and a Kansas 6A state runner-up finish in 2002 ... a three-year starter ... reached the state title game in each of her last three high school seasons, winning the title as a junior.
