Closed her three-year prep career at Carl Junction High School ranked second all-time in assists with 1,605 and added 503 career digs, 201 kills and 63 service aces playing for Head Coach Cheryl Sharples ... Named all-state as a senior in 2017 after helping the Bulldogs to a district championship and reaching the state sectionals serving as team captain ... Was a first team all-conference, all-district and District 12 all-tournament team selection in 2017 ... Honored on the all-district first team, second team all-conference and honorable mention all-region in 2016, while earning a spot on the academic all-state team ... Club team Star Aquila qualified for the 18U National Volleyball Championship USA Division in 2017.

Daughter of Kelly and Ronda Lawson ... Is a bone marrow donor for her younger sister ... Major in Accounting at ORU ... Chose ORU because "it's a Christian university and has great academics. The volleyball program has a winning tradition and it feels like home" ... Father was a running back at Pittsburg State and grandfather played football and baseball at Northeastern State, playing in two national championships, while other grandfather ran track at Pittsburg State ... Was a member of National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honors Society ... Enjoys calligraphy, painting and serving others through church in her free time ... Lists Tim Tebow as her favorite professional athlete and the USA men's volleyball national team as her favorite sports team.
