Sequeira earned The Summit League Player of the Year honors while also being name to the All-
League First Team as utility player and relief pitcher … He belted a three-run home run in the opening game of the NCAA tournament against Arkansas … He was named to the Stillwater Regional All-Tournament team for his performance in the postseason … The senior was also a finalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player Award after leading The Summit League with 11 home runs, 58 RBI, 21 doubles and 11 saves out of the bullpen … Earned Summit League Player of the Week honors twice and Summit League Pitcher of the Week accolades twice as he was also named to the Summit League All-Tournament Team … He was 1-1 on the mound in 32.2 innings pitched with 40 strikes and just 11 walks … He had the third best batting average for the Golden Eagles and eighth best among Summit League hitters at a .341 clip … He led ORU with a .583 slugging percentage while also posting a .423 on base percentage … He had a career day at Arkansas-Little Rock going 3-for-5 with seven RBI and a grand slam … He had a team best 23 multiple hit games and 18 multiple RBI games … He also carries and season best eight game hitting streak into the NCAA tournament.

Played in all 56 games for the Golden Eagles, starting 53 at first base… Finished with a .253 batting average, with eight doubles and a triple… A part of 44 ORU double plays, fourth most in the Southland Conference… Finished 10th in the SLC and led ORU with a .992 fielding percentage… Fifth in the SLC with 459 putouts… Started the season 5-for-12 with a double in the opening series against Southeast Missouri State… Drove in the winning run on a double in the top of the eighth at Kansas (3/11)… Went 10-for-16 over a five game stretch against Nicholls (3/30), Missouri State (4/2) and Sam Houston State (4/4-4/6)… Had three hits, including a double, against No. 8 Oklahoma State (4/22)… Went a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with a double, two RBI and scored four times in the series finale at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/27)… Hit a triple at Central Arkansas (5/3)… Hit a two-run double and had a sac fly for a season high three RBI at UALR (5/7).
PRIOR TO ORU
Played two seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, Calif., under Damon Neidlinger… Led the Bear Cubs to a 34-9-1 record in 2013, a Big 8 championship and a California Community College Athletic Association third place finish… Hit .244 with 11 doubles, two triples and eight stolen bases during his sophomore season… Led the Big 8 Conference with 34 RBI’s in 2013… Named to the All-Big 8 Conference Second Team in 2013… Was a 2013 Rawlings Pacific Association Division Gold Glove Team selection.

Led Petaluma HS to the Sonoma County League championship two times during his high school career… Also participated in basketball and football… Was named the Petaluma High Male Athlete of the Year.
