Made his first appearance as a Golden Eagle on Feb. 16 against Murray State striking out six hitters in 3 innings pitched...Made ten other appearances throughout the season finishing the year 0-3 with 11 strikeouts in 13.1 innings pitched.

High School
Played prep baseball at Gary High School under the guidance of Head Coach Mark Brown earning TSWA All-State 2A honors as a senior ... Named District 23AA Pitcher of the Year for the Bobcats in 2018 behind an 8-2 record with two saves and a 0.73 ERA ... Struck out 111 batters in just 67.1 innings of work during his senior campaign, while hitting .395 with a home run, six doubles and 17 RBI ... Selected as the team MVP and to the All East Texas team in 2018 ... Excelled in the classroom earning THSCA Academic All-State accolades.
