Pitched in 16 games, recording a 1-3 record with a 4.11 ERA in 15.1 innings of action... struck out 11 batters and did not allow a home run... did not allow an earned run in his first three appearances, against Saint Louis on Feb. 17, Wichita State on Feb. 19 and Louisiana Tech on Feb. 23... pitched back-to-back scoreless innings against Oklahoma on March 19 and March 26... threw a scoreless frame against Southeastern Louisiana on April 12... did not allow a run in his final two outings, against Missouri Satte on May 8 and Northwestern State on May 17.

Had seven strikeouts in 10 innings pitched in seven relief appearances in 2011... Started against no. 9 TCU on May 17, pitching three innings with one earned run and two strikeouts.
