Nick Roark

A former standout for ORU on the field, Nick Roark returned to the Oral Roberts baseball program as the volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2019 after spending time playing in independent baseball for the Lake Erie Crushers.

 

Roark previously worked as the assistant coach at Cascia Hall High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, during the spring of 2019. 

 

As a player for the Golden Eagles (2015-2018), Roark tallied 236 hits, 39 doubles and 10 home runs averaging .299 at the plate. He was a two-time All-Summit League First Team member, including his senior season when he led the league with 55 runs scored and four triples.

 

During his junior campaign, he was one of the top fielding second baseman posting a .988 fielding percentage with only three errors in 256 chances and had a team-leading, 30-game streak of reaching base safely.

 

Roark graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2018 earning a bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
