Nolan Fanning enters his first season as the Director of Baseball Operations in 2023.
Prior to joining the staff at ORU, Fanning served as an assistant coach at Midland College, where he coached the catchers and the offense. During his tenure with the Chaps, Fanning helped the team to a 69-36 record and coached Tyler Wulfert to First Team All-American honors and Luke Young to an 11th round pick in the MLB draft.
Before working at Midland, Fanning spent time as an assistant at NOC-Enid and helped guide the team to an NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2019.Â
A native of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Fanning earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation from Southeastern Oklahoma State in 2016. Fanning and his wife Macee reside in Tulsa along with their son Kessler.
