Hightower made 18 appearances out of the bullpen for ORU and earned one midweek start at Oklahoma State … He finished the season 2-0 and earned his first win at home against then-No. 23 Texas Tech … He pitched five innings of relief against Omaha to win his second game of the year … His 21 strikeouts and nine walks continued a trend for the ORU bullpen as he posted a 3.20 ERA in 25.1 innings pitched.

2014
Went 3-2 in 17 appearances out of the bullpen for the Golden Eagles… Finished with a 3.22 earned run average, striking out 11 in 22.1 innings of work… Made his Division I debut against Southeast Missouri State (2/16)… Pitched his longest outing of the year with 2.2 innings at No. 28 Texas Tech (2/21)… Earned first two career victories in back-to-back contests against Harvard (2/28, 3/1)… Picked up the third win of the season at Dallas Baptist (3/6).

PRIOR TO ORU
Played two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State under Head Coach Craig Price… Helped the Mountaineers to a Region II Championship during his freshman season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Led Chickasha High School to the state tournament all four years under the direction of Brad Gore… Reached the 5A State Championship game during his freshman and sophomore seasons…2011 All-State selection… Three-time All-Conference selection… Was a two-sport athlete and a four-time letter winner in football.
