2015
James worked his way into the starting lineup after hitting .333 during the season and .364 during league play to earn First Team All-Summit League honors … He was named the Summit League Tournament MVP after going 7-for-12 with three RBI and three runs scored and two doubles … He was named Summit League Player of the Week twice during the season … He reached base in seven straight at bats starting with the game winning hit against Texas Tech and was an incredible 6-for-6 at Western Illinois with five RBI and scoring four times … He finished with six RBI in a win at Louisiana Tech going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored  … James tallied 16 multiple hit games and an 11 game hit streak during the season and has reached base safely in 12 straight games entering the NCAA tournament.

2014
Saw action in 14 games and made three starts… Scored a run in his ORU debut against Southeast Missouri State (2/16)… Scored the game-winning run in the series opener versus Harvard (2/28)… Walked and scored two times against Northwestern State (3/14).

PRIOR TO ORU
Played for Todd Shelton at Panola College in Carthage, Texas... Helped Panola to a second place finish in the Region XIV North Zone standings… Hit .306 as a sophomore with 57 hits, seven doubles, a triple and three home runs… Started his college career at San Jacinto College-North in Houston, Texas… Recorded four hits and two RBI’s in 29 at bats as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Beaumont West Brook HS in 2011… Was an All-District performer in baseball under Head Coach Jacob Walton… Also an All-District selection in basketball… Junior year was highlighted by a walk-off homerun in the playoffs against Pearland HS.
