Eason Teel closed out a successful freshman season appearing in 17 games, starting 10...in 82.1 IP he posted a 7-2 record with a 2.95 ERA...since moving to the Friday night starting role on March 21st Teel recorded nine quality starts in 10 tries and struck out at least two batters in every start, his highest total being eight against Omaha...he led the Summit League in ERA (2.95) and ranked top 10 in opposing batting average (.240), innings pitched (82.1), strikeouts (54), strikeouts looking (15), wins (7), hits (75), runs (37), earned runs (27), and led in walks allowed (15)...his best statistical start came in his first start where he threw 7.0 scoreless innings against Omaha on March 21st allowing four hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck out a career high eight batters.
