Appeared in 23 games, including 11 starts, in his first ORU season … posted a 3-4 record and 4.35 ERA … second on the team with 78.2 innings pitched … struck out 50 and walked 55 … was 1-2 with a 5.24 ERA in eight Summit League games (5 starts) … one of season’s best starts came in extra-inning win over Central Arkansas … tossed seven innings and allowed two earned runs while striking out six in eventual 4-3 win against the Bears … named Summit League Pitcher of the Week after complete-game effort against Centenary (May 16) struck out season-high seven batters and allowed one run (unearned) in 19-1 victory over the Gents … helped ORU to a 3-2 win over No. 7 Texas, allowing one run on six hits in 5.2 innings during a midweek start.

Spent 2009 at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Ariz. ... appeared in 10 games (all starts), going 6-2 with a 2.64 ERA ... struck out 44 batters and allowed 23 walks in 58.0 innings ... also allowed just 46 hits ... played his freshman season (2008) at the University of Oklahoma ... appeared in  19 games with one start, going 0-2 with a 7.02 ERA ... struck out 19 and walked six in 16.2 innings of work.
