struggling at times as a junior ... owns three solid pitches (fastball, slider,
change-up) ... works his fastball consistently in the upper 80s and can tough 90
on occasion ... his change-up is considered a "plus" pitch ... working on
improving his command ... coaching staff hopes he can take on more of a major

2.0 innings of relief against the Jaguars ... picked up season's only victory
against Missouri Southern (2/14), allowing one run on five hits over 5.0 innings
... pitched 3.2 shutout innings of relief at Texas-Pan American (3/21) ...
played summer ball for the Covington Lumberjacks of the Valley League, teaming
with Taylor McIntyre and Tim Torres ... was 2-4 with a 3.48 ERA in nine starts.

Enjoyed a stellar sophomore season at nationally ranked
Seminole State ... went 9-0 with a 2.66 ERA, earning first-team All-Region II
honors ... also struck out 73 and walked just 18 in 65.0 innings of work as
Seminole went 45-13 ... was 5-1 with two saves and a 2.30 ERA as a freshman for
Seminole State ... struck out 58 batters in 56.0 IP ... helped Seminole to a
46-14 record and a regional championship ... pitched 7.2 shutout innings in the
regional title game.

Standout at Okmulgee HS ... set Oklahoma High School season
records for strikeouts (180) and wins (16) as a senior ... was 16-4 with a 0.87
ERA and only 22 walks as a senior, earning 2001 Pitcher of the Year honors from
the OSSA and second-team All-State recognition from the Daily Oklahoman.
