Missed the 2010 season while recovering from off-season surgery.

Helped lead Valley Christian High School to a 33-3 record and an appearance in the state semifinals in 2008... named the AZBCA 2A Player of the Year, 1A-3A Small School Player of the Year and the 2A Central Conference Player of the Year... member of the first-team all-state and all-central region teams... compiled a 13-1 record with a 1.60 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 70 innings as a senior... set the school strike-out record his junior and senior seasons... fanned 12 batters in a complete game at the state tournament... also batted .557 with 11 homers and 56 RBI, which tied the school’s single-season RBI mark.
