Biography

 

Prior to ORU:
Played under head coach Andy McKay the last two seasons at Sacramento City CC... helped team capture the conference title twice, as well as reach the final four in 2007 and the super regionals in 2008... batted .300 and .333 during his two seasons, respectively.

High School:
Graduated from Angelo Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, Calif., in 2005... a three-time team MVP and offensive player of the year... named all-county as a catcher and designated hitter... batted .438 his senior season with five homers... also lettered in football.

Son of Bill and Laura Pope... born on May 7, 1987 in Marin, Calif... majoring in recreation at ORU.
