Austin on April 5... Added another homer, along with three RBI, against Southeastern Louisiana on April 14... Had his best day of the season on May 3 at Lamar, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two stolen bases... homered again two days later in the finale of the Lamar series... hit his final home run of the year in ORU's home finale, against McNeese State on May 12... Smacked three hits at College World Series runner-up Mississippi State on May 14... played in just one game at the Southland Conference Tournament, going 1-for-2 against Stephen F. Austin on May 22 before exiting with an injury... committed just one error in the field.

One of the more consistant hitters at Blinn College in his freshman and sophomore seasons, batting .316... played outfield for Harvey McIntyre... Helped the Buccaneers to consecutive winnings seasons.

Played for Klein High School in Klein, Texas, under Barry Smith... hit a home run in four consecutive games during junior season... 1st Team All-District 13-5A in baseball and in football... was a member of the National Honor Society.
