Scouting Chris Riouse: A solid shooter who is capable of

getting hot in a hurry ... Has worked hard in the off-season and figures to be a

regular member of the rotation ... One of five seniors on the Golden Eagles'

roster...Originally signed with ORU out of nearby Broken Arrow (Okla.) High

School, but attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College instead.







2004-05: Led Mid-Con

in conference-only 3-point FG pct. (.533, 16-of-30) ... Tied for 21st in the

league with two 20-point games ... Played eight games against non-conference

foes ... Scored six points and dished out a career-high three assists in ORU

debut, a season-opening 101-60 win over Oklahoma Wesleyan (11/20/04) ...

Struggled in limited action before Christmas (6 GP, 2.0 ppg, 0-for-4 3-pt FG's)

... Returned from the holidays with confidence, averaging 12.3 points and making

11-of-15 3-pt FG (.733) over his next three games played. His only

non-conference game in that trio was a 113-68 win over visiting Utah Valley

State (12/28/04), when he drilled both treys he attempted ... Contributed five

points, including a 3-pointer, in 11 minutes off the bench in 86-76 win at

Southwest Missouri State in the ESPN Bracket Buster Saturday Series contest ...

Exploded for a career-high 21 points (7-of-10 3-point FGs) to help ORU take a

hard-fought 94-89 home win over Oakland (1/20/05) ... The seven treys were three

more than he had made in eight previous appearances, and tied for fourth on

ORU's single-game record chart ... Established career-highs for 3-pointers made

and attempted, field goals attempted (12), and minutes played (26) in that game

... Played well against Centenary in both meetings ... Scored a then career-high

10 points (2-of-3 3pt FG) in 14 minutes off the bench in his Mid-Con debut, an

88-65 home win over the Gents (1/15/05) ... Tied his career-high of 21 points by

making 8-of-9 FG's (5-6 3-pt FG's) in 25 minutes off the bench in a 91-67 road

victory (2/3/05).

Averaged 13.0 points and 3.5

rebounds per game as a sophomore ... Made 77 3-pointers and shot 44.0 percent

from long range in 2003-04 ... Shot 59.0 percent from the field and 75.0 percent

from the charity stripe ... Added 49 steals while leading NEO to a 25-8 overall

record in 2003-04 ... Averaged 11.1 points and 3.7 rebounds in just 18 games as

a freshman ... Missed nearly half of the 2002-03 campaign with an ankle injury

... Finished career ranked third in school history in career 3-point percentage.
