Named the Defensive Player of the Year and was an all-state and all-district selection … under Coach Scott Curran, helped his team to the regional tournament … averaged 19.4 points and 11.3 rebounds as a junior and was named the district’s MVP … ranked as the 21st best player in the state of Texas and a three-star recruit by Rivals.

Originally from The Hague, The Netherlands … son of Chioma Nzekwesi … majoring in computer information technology and minoring in Christian caregiving at ORU … also recruited by Weber State, Texas State, Western Kentucky, Cincinnati and Tulane … chose ORU “to grow in my faith and pursue a great college and professional basketball career.”
