The Oral Roberts men’s soccer program added Sergio Romero as a Graduate Assistant Coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Romero brings coaching experience from both Spain and Tulsa. He began as Head Coach of a U16 side in Spain before spending three years as Head Coach with WSA in Tulsa.
As a player, Romero was a two-year letter winner at Richland Community College in Dallas, Texas, where he helped the Thunderducks capture back-to-back NJCAA National Championships. He finished his collegiate career at the University of Tulsa, starting every match for the Golden Hurricane and earning The American All-Conference Second Team honors as a senior.
