Started all 18 matches for the Golden Eagles during his senior season ... Was a key part of the ORU defense during a span from 11/1-4 when opponents did not score ... Was a part of five shutouts for the Golden Eagle defense ... Picked up one yellow card during the season.
2013
Started all 18 matches during his junior season… Named a Second Team All-Summit League defender… A key member of a Golden Eagle defense that allowed 20 goals, the fewest by an ORU team in program history… Helped the Golden Eagles to five shutouts, including two over Missouri State (9/25, 10/15), scoreless draws against Mid-America Christian and Incarnate Word (10/22), and a conference shutout over Western Illinois (10/12).
2012
Started all 17 matches for the Golden Eagles... Took five shots, with three coming on goal... Shown one yellow card... Led ORU to victories over Air Force (9/14), Fort Wayne (9/28), Eastern Illinois (10/20) and Newman (10/31).
2011
Started all 19 matches as a rookie... Scored twice and added one assist... Scored in his debut match, against Central Arkansas (8/27)... Assisted on a goal against UMKC (10/22)... Scored a 90th minute game-winner to beat Western Illinois, 3-2, in ORU’s regular season finale (11/5) and put the Golden Eagles into the Summit League Tournament.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated in 2011 from Norman North HS in Norman, Oklahoma... Was named All-District, All-City, and All-Conference his last three years of high school (2009-11)... Team Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 and 2011... Named All-State his senior year... Was involved in the National Honor Society and the Key Club.
PERSONAL
Son of Randy and Debbie Laffoon... Studying Business... Plans to own his own business and coach soccer after graduation.
