Courtney Moran joined the ORU women's basketball staff in 2026-27 as assistant WBB coach and director of WBB operations. She brought experience at four collegiate programs across three levels along with head coaching experience at the high school level.

Moran oversees the day-to-day operations of the Golden Eagles' program while working on the bench as an assistant coach.

Moran spent the 2024-25 season as head girls basketball coach at Moore High School, where the program won the Moore Cup with victories over both Westmoore and Southmoore while competing in one of Oklahoma's most competitive classifications.

She arrived at Moore after three seasons as head coach at Casady School in Oklahoma City from 2021 to 2024. Casady earned SPC All-Conference recognition in 2021-22, and Moran coached two All-SPC selections, two All-SPC North Zone selections, an SPC Individual Sportsmanship Award winner and an SPC honorable mention pick during her tenure. Two of her players went on to sign with Division I and Division II programs.

Before moving into the high school ranks, Moran spent the 2020-21 season at Pittsburg State, hired in June 2020 as the top assistant coach for the NCAA Division II program. She helped the Gorillas to a 14-9 record and a berth in the MIAA Championship tournament during the COVID-shortened season. Pittsburg State produced two Second Team All-MIAA selections that year in Kaylee DaMitz and Tristan Gegg, with Gegg ranking sixth in the conference in scoring at 15.8 points per game while shooting 90.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Prior to Pitt State, Moran served as director of basketball operations at the University of Nebraska Omaha during the 2019-20 season, her first stop at the Division I level. She spent the 2018-19 season as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of Sioux Falls, helping the Cougars to a 23-8 record.

Moran began her coaching career at Northeastern State, spending two seasons from 2016 to 2018 as a graduate assistant, and served briefly as an assistant coach at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, in 2018.

As a player, Moran completed her career at Oklahoma Wesleyan after transferring from Oklahoma Baptist, where she spent her first two seasons from 2012 to 2014. She was a two-year team captain at OKWU and earned All-Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team honors as a senior. A two-time all-academic honoree, she was also recognized with the NAIA Champions of Character Award. As a junior she helped the Lady Eagles to the first NAIA National Tournament appearance in program history. Over her final two seasons Moran played in 64 games, averaging 9.7 points and 2.8 rebounds while knocking down 116 threepointers with 82 assists and 51 steals.

A native of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and a 2012 graduate of Blanchard High School, Moran was named to the Oklahoma Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-State team as a prep standout. She earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from Oklahoma Wesleyan in May 2016 and a master's degree in kinesiology from Northeastern State in May 2018. Moran (formerly Robinson) is married to her husband, Dakota. The couple has two children, Jordyn and Isaiah.
