Jeff Zinn joined the Oral Roberts women's basketball staff in the summer of 2021 after spending the past 10 years as Head Coach at Anadarko High School in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Zinn held a 227-25 overall record. With the Warriors, Zinn won two class 4A state championships in 2011-12 and 2018-19. His teams were also state runners-up in 2008-09 and 2013-14. He claimed the Tournament of Champions title in 2012-13. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019-20, the Warriors were ranked No. 1 all season with a 26-1 record.
Prior to coaching at Anadarko, Zinn coached at Newkirk High School in Newkirk, Oklahoma. While at Newkirk, the Tigers finished class 3A state runner-up in 2008-09. He took the team to the state quarterfinals in 2009-10. Overall in his coaching career, he holds a 563-247 record.
Zinn holds many coaching awards including being named NFHSA State Coach of the Year in 2021. He was NFHSA National Sectional Coach of the Year in 2020 and Daily Oklahoman Coach of the Year in 2019. He claimed the OGBCA State Coach of the Year honor in 2012 and 2019.
Having graduated from Buffalo High School, Zinn went on to receive his bachelor’s in education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1990. He then earned his master’s in administration from East Central University in 1998.
Zinn has three daughters, Averi, Libbi and Layni, a son, Taylor and granddaughter, Amay.
