Wayne Anderson enters his third season as the Director of Operations and Assistant Coach for the Oral Roberts women’s basketball team. Anderson brought eight years of collegiate coaching experience to the Golden Eagle staff.
Prior to joining the ORU staff, Anderson served as the Founder/Director of 3T Training LLC, which is a skill development program that is designed to improve individual basketball skills.
In his collegiate coaching career, Anderson has made stops as an assistant at Southwestern Oklahoma State (2008-2013) and Central Oklahoma (2005-2008). Anderson also spent time as a head coach at the high school level at Cornerstone Christian Academy, where he led both the boys and girls varsity teams.
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Anderson is the all-time leading scorer (2,945) at Cornerstone Christian Academy and was a two-year starter at Northern Oklahoma College-Enid. He earned his bachelor’s degree in General Studies in 2007 from Central Oklahoma before receiving his master’s in education in 2008.
Anderson is married to his wife and ORU Associate Head Coach, Cophie Anderson, and the couple has three children, Cameron, Carringtyn and Creed.
