HIGH SCHOOL
Maya Mayberry played high school basketball at Fayetteville High School under Head Coach Victor Rimmer. She was a part of the 2015 and 2017 State Championship squad and was a 2016 all-conference selection. Mayberry was also a 2017 all-conference and all-state selection as well. She played AAU ball for Oklahoma PWP.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Lee and Marla Mayberry … Favorite pro team is the Oklahoma City Thunder and favorite professional athlete is Kyrie Irving … Plans to major in elementary education at ORU … Was also recruited by Incarnate Word, New Mexico and Little Rock ... Her sister Kaylan Mayberry is a former member of the Golden Eagles women's basketball team and her other sister, Taleya, is the team's Graduate Assistant Coach.
