Oral Roberts University

Alex Dee joined the ORU Athletic department as Assistant Director of Sports Performance in October 2021. In his current role, Dee serves as the primary sports performance coach for the women’s basketball, volleyball and men’s tennis programs while assisting with ORU’s various other athletic programs.

Prior to being hired at ORU, Dee served as intern and interim Sports Performance Coach at the University of Denver. In his time with the Pioneers, he oversaw volleyball and men’s lacrosse while assisting with hockey, men’s soccer and women’s basketball.

Dee completed sports performance internships at Clemson University, Marquette University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.

A native of Holmen, Wisconsin, Dee attended the University of Illinois at Chicago earning his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2019 and his Master of Science in Kinesiology in 2021. From 2015 to 2021 Dee competed as a member of the UIC baseball program. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Certified through the American Red Cross.
