Annika (Albrecht) Moulder is one of the best collegiate players in NCAA history and was brought aboard the ORU coaching staff as an Assistant Coach by her brother and head coach, Nolan Alberecht. During her playing career at Nebraska, Annika Moulder was an All-American outside hitter and team captain, leading the Huskers to two national titles. As a senior captain, she averaged 3.02 kills and 2.74 digs per set while recording 34 service aces. In September 2017, she recorded 19 kills on .400 hitting in a win over #1 Penn State, earning the national player of the week award. At the end of the year, she had tallied 18 double-doubles, earning AVCA second-team All-American, an All-Big Ten selection and was named an AAU Sullivan Award finalist, given to the nation's most outstanding amateur athlete in any sport. She also became the third Husker since 2000 to play in every set (489) of her four-year career.
After her collegiate career, Annika played one year of professional volleyball for Volleyball Nantes in France. Following her season abroad in France, she returned to the United States to begin a career in ministry, working for FOCUS for a year in southern California before being transferred to Helena, Montana, to work on the campus of Carroll College.
Annika jumpstarted her coaching career in 2022, earning an Assistant Coach role for the University of Montana. The Grizzlies went 17-12 in 2022, putting up a 10-6 conference (Big Sky) record. She was at the forefront of history that season as the Grizzlies tallied their first 17-win season since 1999 and their first 10-win Big Sky campaign since 2013.
