    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Mann began his role as volunteer assistant coach at ORU in the fall of 2025, and looks forward to serving in this capacity under Coach Nolan Albrecht and his staff for the upcoming 2026 ORU Volleyball Season. In addition to teaching and coaching, Mann has served as a pastor since 2012 and is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church and in the Evangelical Wesleyan Episcopal Church. Mann is the Senior Pastor at Leonard Methodist Church, and at the Nueva Esperanza Church Mission Society.

2012-2025: Coach Mann completed his Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas in Kinesiology in the Spring of 2012, and began his career as a Tenured Professor in the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas in the Fall of 2012. For that time span, Mann was the director of the Online Master's of Science Program in Sport Coaching, and had the joy of working with hundreds of coaches who matriculated thru the program. Mann retired from full time teaching at TWU in the Summer of 2025. 

2001- Head Volleyball Coach. St. Gregory's University. Team Record 27-14. NAIA Regional Finalist; 2002- Assistant Coach, Nicholls State University. Thibodaux, Louisiana-NCAA D1 NCAA Tournament Qualifier; 2003-2004 Assistant Volleyball Coach at E.D. White Catholic High School. 3A State Tournament Semi-Finalist, 2004; 2005-2007- Club Coach Team Tulsa-14's, and Volunteer Assistant at Monte Cassino Catholic School; 2008-2013- Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Tulsa, 2 Times Advancing to the NCAA Tournament 2nd Round (2010- Defeating LSU, & in 2011- Defeating OU in the 1st Round of the NCAA Tournament). 

Mann and his wife Kendal have two children: Bijou (6), and Tylander (3).
