The Oral Roberts Athletic Department is set to induct men's basketball All-American Caleb Green as the lone inductee into the 2023 ORU Athletic Hall of Fame class, it was announced Friday. Green will be honored halftime of the men's basketball game on January 28, 2023, against Omaha at the Mabee Center.
 
"This is a day our fans and department have been waiting for," Athletic Director Tim Johnson said. "We are excited to formally welcome All-American Caleb Green into the ORU Athletics Hall of Fame. His unforgettable career here at ORU set an incredible tone and continues to be an unforgettable time in the history of ORU men's basketball and basketball in the city of Tulsa. To be able to bring Caleb back and have the opportunity to celebrate him is an honor and we are all looking forward to it."

  • A three-time Associated Press All-American in 2005, 2006 & 2007.
  • Led his team to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007 and an NIT appearance in 2005.
  • Won three-straight Mid-Continent Conference regular season titles (2005, 2006 & 2007). Was Mid-Con Player of the Year those same seasons.
  • 18th player in NCAA history with more than 2,500 points and 1,000 rebounds.
  • Ended his career as the Mid-Con's all-time leader in points, rebounds, free-throws made and attempted.
  • Was the 2007 Mid-Major Player of the Year.
  • Played in the 2007 NABC All-Star Game.
  • Set school records with 61 career double-doubles, 35 20-point, 10-rebounds games.
  • A 15-time Mid-Con Player of the Week selection.
  • Ranked fifth nationally with 16 double-doubles in 2004-05.
  • First ORU sophomore to reach 1,000 career points and 500 rebounds.
  • Ranks No. 3 all-time in points scored at ORU with 2,503, behind hall of famers Greg Sutton (3,070) and Richard Fuqua (3,004), respectively.
