Was a member of 4 U.S. Olympic Teams. Manning-Mims is the only American Woman to win a gold in the 800 meters, which she did in 1968 to go along with her silver medal in 1972. Manning-Mims also served as chaplain for more than seven Olympic Games. Manning-Mims is a national and Olympic Hall of Famer.
