EDINBURG, Texas The Oral Roberts University men's tennis
team dropped a non-conference match against University of Texas-Pan
American, 6-1, Saturday at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.
The Golden Eagles dropped to 3-6 on the year while UTPA improved
to 7-9.
The Broncs led things off with doubles' play where they took all
three matches from ORU to collect the point.
In singles play, Alex Kotsuik kept up his hot play with a win at
No. 1 singles over Ivan Avila, 7-5, 6-1. However, that was the only
win the Golden Eagles would get as UTPA defeated ORU in the other
five matches.
Denis Troyke came the closes to stealing a win against the Broncs
with a 6-4, 7-6 (7) setback against UTPA's Nirvick Mohinta at No.
3.
