ROCHESTER, Mich.-Oakland University scored the game's only goal in
the 78th minute as the Golden Grizzlies handed Oral Roberts
University a 1-0 loss in the Summit League opener for both teams on
Friday.
Oakland's Johnny Dreshaj scored on a rebound in the goal box at
77:14. His goal came after teammate Stefan St. Louis had shot his
blocked by the ORU defense. St. Louis was credited with an assist
on the goal.
The Golden Eagles (2-4-1, 0-1-0 Summit) lost despite out-shooting
Oakland, 14-11. The Golden Grizzlies (4-3-1, 1-0-0) had just four
shots on goal. ORU goal keeper
Andrew Techanchuk made three
saves.
Jarrett Hamilton led ORU with five shots, including two on
goal.
