Late Goal Helps Golden Eagles Gain Summit League Tournament Berth

Box Score TULSA-Senior goalkeeper Andrew Techanchuk scored the game-tying goal with less than a minute to play in regulation to help Oral Roberts earn a hard-fought 2-2 tie in a key Summit League match with Oakland, Saturday at ORU Soccer Complex. The tie assures the Golden Eagles of a spot in next month's Summit League Tournament.

The Golden Eagles took an early 1-0 lead when Kalen Ryden scored off a corner kick by Jarrett Hamilton in the 18th minute. Hamilton's kick was received by Jon Gann, who flicked the ball to Ryden for the score.

Oakland (4-93, 1-1-3) tied the game less than 10 minutes later as Andrew Barrett scored from 20 yards out in the 27th minute.
