TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts University men's
tennis team dropped the season opener, 5-2, Saturday against
Illinois State at the Case Tennis Center.
ORU took hard earned points at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, but the
bottom of the Redbird lineup pulled out the final four wins to seal
the match.

Saletovic won the first match for ORU, 7-6, 6-4 at No. 1
singles.
- Alejandro
Capdequi fought to a 7-6, 6-2 (11-9) victory at No. 2 singles
for the final point.
- Michael
Sosnowski dropped one of the closest matches of the day, 6-3,
6-2, against Dylan Steffens at No. 6 singles.
- Both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles teams for the Golden Eagles fell
6-3.

- ORU falls to 0-1 on the season as Illinois State picks up its
first win at 1-2.
- The Golden Eagles continue a tough opening stretch to the
