The Short Story: The Oral Roberts men's tennis team dropped a heartbreaker to Abilene Christian, 4-3, Friday night at the Philcrest Hills Tennis Club.

Jan Pehnec, Barnabas Koncz, and Kenneth Boykin all won their second straight singles match to improve to 2-1. Alvaro Santamaria lost a heartbreaker at No. 6 singles in the deciding match as ACU edged ORU Friday night.

The Wildcats also picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles which included a tight match at the No. 1 position to give ACU the doubles point.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles return to the court Sunday as they host SIU-Edwardsville. Action from the Philcrest Hills Tennis Center gets underway at 9 a.m.
