The Short Story: The Oral Roberts men's tennis team fell to defending Summit League Champion, Denver 6-1 Friday afternoon at the Stapleton Tennis Pavilion.

The Golden Eagles dropped their second Summit League match and sit at 2-2 with just one match left before The Summit League Tournament at the end of the month. ORU had also won its last two matches and six of its last eight before Friday's loss.

However, the Golden Eagles did not go down easily as Barnabas Koncz fell, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.

Amar Saletovic also dropped his first singles match of the season, falling 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 3 position. Saletovic is 3-1 in Summit League action and 11-10 overall.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles finish the regular season next Saturday against Omaha in Tulsa. Action from Philcrest Hills Tennis Club is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
