SPOKANE, Wash. – The Golden Eagles men's soccer team dropped their first game of the season to Gonzaga 1-0 Thursday evening in Spokane, Wash.

Gonzaga's Nick Ulowetz scored his first goal of the season and put the Bulldogs up 1-0 at the 49 minute mark.

- ORU was out-shot 13-3 in the match and had one corner kick as opposed to Gonzaga's four.

- Parker Johnson and Thibaut Giquel split time in the goalie box and combined made two saves.

- ORU's Baptiste Vandeputte was assessed a yellow card at the four minute mark. Isaac Fraley, Javo Reyes, Junior Chavez and Alex Harris all received yellow cards in the second half.

- Gonzaga's Austin Giftopoulos was assessed a yellow card at the 34 minute mark.
