TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team cruised past Arkansas-Fort Smith 6-1 Tuesday afternoon at the ONEOK Sports Complex. 

The Golden Eagles claimed the doubles points Sunday winning at every position. Kenneth Boykin and Jan Pehnec won 6-2 at the No. 1 spot, Marcello Moreira and Scott Hjelm won 6-2 at the No. 2 position along with Alvaro Santamaria and Eddy Leardini winning 6-1 at the No. 3 spot.

ORU won five of the six singles matches Tuesday. Boykin claimed a 6-4, 6-4 win at the No. 1 spot. Santamaria, Moreira, Leardini and Hjelm all grabbed victories at positions two through six. Santamaria won 6-1, 6-2, Moreira claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win, Leardini won 6-2, 6-0 and Hjelm grabbed a 6-0, 6-1 win.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will travel to Brownsville, Texas, to take on Prairie View A&M Thursday March 22 at 9 a.m.
