GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team fell 6-1 in the first Summit League match of the season at North Dakota Friday evening.
 
The Golden Eagles dropped the doubles point and fell 0-1 leading into singles play.
 
Volodymyr Zakharov claimed the lone point for the Golden Eagles with a 7-6, 6-3 win at the No. 1 spot. Marcello Moreira won set one at the No. 3 spot, but fell in sets two and three. Eddy Leardini had a tight match at No. 5. Leardini fell in set one 3-6, but won set two 6-3. He fell just short in set three, 7-6.
 
Up Next: ORU will take on Saint Louis Friday, March 19 at 11 a.m. in St. Louis, Missouri.
