TULSA, Okla. – On Saturday afternoon, the Oral Roberts won their second consecutive game over North Dakota State, 5-3.
The Golden Eagles opened the scoring in the fourth inning when
Brody Gibson singled up the middle to score
Blake Hall. ORU added two more runs in the fifth inning on back-to-back RBI singles from
Joshua Cox and
Hunter Swift.
North Dakota State got a pair of runs in the sixth inning before ORU responded with two runs of their own.
Caleb Denny and Cox added RBI singles in the inning.
The Bison got a run back in the seventh, but that was all.
AJ Archambo worked around a bases loaded, no out jam in the eighth inning to escape untouched.
Turning Point
The Golden Eagles were able to capitalize on five errors made by the North Dakota State defense throughout the game. ORU forced a pair of errors on stolen base attempts, picking up an extra base in both attempts.

- Evan Kowalski picked up his fourth win of the season on the mound for ORU.
- AJ Archambo fanned four hitters in 2.0 innings of work.
- Ryan Cash became the first Golden Eagle to tally four hits in a game this season.
- Caleb Denny and Jake McMurray both extended their hitting streaks to eight games apiece. The marks are the new longest from a Golden Eagle this season.
