DENVER – The No. 24 Oral Roberts men's soccer team earned its best start to a season in program history with a 1-0 shutout over the Denver Pioneers in Denver, Colorado, Thursday evening.

Dante Brigida scored his fifth goal of the season in the 29
th minute when he connected with the back of the net on a penalty kick.
Reed Berry was fouled inside the goalkeeper box by the Denver keeper, Will Palmquist, and earned the penalty for the Golden Eagles.
Brigida leads the Summit League in goals with five on the season. As a team, the No. 24 Golden Eagles have posted five shutouts on the season and the defense has only given up one goal. It is the first time in program history that Oral Roberts has defeated the Denver Pioneers in Denver, Colorado.
